Yes. We review all estimates with the client. We will go over each detail and walk you through each aspect of the project, step-by-step. This is a great opportunity for questions to be asked and new ideas to be considered.
No, you don’t have to commit to a contract and you can change the scope of work at any time.
There are two types of estimates:
- Roofing bids: some clients prefer a hard bid. This number is not usually modified. It encompasses all costs of the project and you can be assured this is the final cost of the outlined project. This is subject to change should the project scope changes. A typical 25% deposit is required.
- A General Contract: This is an ongoing billing system that includes time & materials. A typical 10% deposit of total estimate is exchanged and the client is billed bi-weekly thereafter. This type of billing is great for remodels, design/build type projects, and snow removal.
We accept cash, check and credit card payments. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% additional transaction fee.
Typically, we secure materials however, some clients prefer to be more hands on. Each project is unique. We allow our clients to get involved in material procurement. This item should be discussed at estimate time.
Throughout the project there is continued communication. Once we are reaching completion, AMC will make sure you are aware. We then provide a final walk through punch list, to ensure there are no questions or concerns left unattended. We want you to be 100% satisfied with the outcome.
